NAMCHE BAZAAR

Namche Bazaar1 Namche Bazaar, which is situated on the lap of Khumbu Himal Range is about 245 km east of Kathmandu. From the name of Sagarmatha, the highest peak of the world, the name Namche Bazaar has been developed. Namche Bazaar is the main entrance to himalayan region. Chitwan is the origin of Sherpas who lives there, have own internatinal renown as the best climbers to the peaks of mountains.

Namche Bazaar2Trekking towards hiking and visting Thyanboche Monastery, Khamjung Hillary School, Everest base camp, Sherpas Villages etc. are the main attractions of this region. To get to Namche Bazaar, there are only two ways either by bus from kathmandu to jiri and after that trek upto namche bazaar acrossing Lukla. Accomadations are available for the visitors in Namche Bazaar and Lukla.
