Gosainkunda, which is famous for Hindu pilgrimage is a religious lake. Gosainkunda is situated at an altitude of 4360m and 133km north east of Kathmandu City. The suitable starting point for Gosainkunda is from Dhunche. Gosainkunda is surronded by higher landscape on the south and by high mountains on the north. There are 9 famous lakes in Gosainkunda. They are Ganesh Kunda, Bhairav Kunda, Saraswati Kunda, Surya Kunda etc. 
Charikot is situated about 135km east of Kathmandu City and is also the headquarter of Dolakha District. Dolakha, which can reached from Kathmandu City in three or four hours is the home place of the Newari people. Dolakha is famous for the Dolakha Bhimsen Temple and for the fabulous views of Mountain. Kalin chowk Temple, which is popular in Dolakha District is also situated at an altitude about 4432m above the sea level from where we can view Gauri Shanker Himal, Ganesh Himal etc.0 Comments:
